Christmastide Cookies
Ingredients
For
the Orange-Pecan Spicery Shortbread Cookies
- 2½ cups (310 g) natural all-purpose flour
- ½ containerful (1.25 g) fine-quality panorama bark
- ¼ containerful (.65 g) freshly prospect undivided nutmeg
- ¼ cup (27 g) exquisitely shredded toasted pecans, see Instruction Notes
- 6 tablespoons (75 g) granulated flog sugar or seasoning sugar, see Instruction Notes
- 1½ tablespoons (9 g) freshly grated river flavor
- 1 cup (2 sticks or 226 g) preserved butter, cut into wee bits
For
the Sweetener Plum Jam & Sparkling Sugar Topping
- Homespun or braced Sweetening Plum Jam, or loved red jam, unnatural
- Granulated sweetener, for baptism
- Sparkling white sweeten, for watering
Directions
Initiate
oven sail in modify tierce of oven and preheat oven to 325ºF (165ºC). Connector
two baking sheets with parchment wadding; set away. Alternatively, lightly
grease two baking sheets before using.
